What we are
GableGuard Roofing is a referral service. We don't send our own crews, own equipment or do roofing work. When you call or send a request, we connect you with an independent roofing contractor in our network that serves your ZIP code.
The network covers 17,797 cities and 26,788 ZIP codes in 50 states and DC. Coverage is set ZIP by ZIP, by the companies themselves.
What the roofing contractor does
The roofer you're connected with inspects the damage, explains the scope, quotes its price and, if you agree, does the work: tarping, repairs, inspections or a full replacement. You deal with them directly, and your agreement is with them.
What it costs you
Nothing. Calling us or sending a request is free. Contractors in the network pay for the referrals.
Before you hire anyone
- Ask for the roofer's license number where your state requires one, and check it. Our state pages name the board.
- Ask for a certificate of insurance.
- Get the scope and price in writing, including tear-off, decking, underlayment, flashing and ventilation.
- You can generally choose your own contractor, even when an insurer suggests one.
